Talk to the guard to be able to become an Initiate

Talk to a BoS guard.

Visit a satellite base of the Brotherhood of Steel in NCR, Den, or San Francisco to apply for membership with the door guard. Get inside to speak with a recruiter in one of these ways:

• By having high marksmanship
• By having high medical skill
• By bringing 200 rounds of 5mm AP
• Or by bringing 20 AP Rockets

Fulfilling any of these requirements gives the player the rank of Recruit, the lowest rank in the Brotherhood of Steel. Access is then granted to all three bunkers in towns.

NOTE: You cannot join them via their Lost Hills HQ location, but only via a satellite base:

• San Francisco
• Shady Sands
• The Den

Rewards

• Joining the Brotherhood of Steel faction (Access to the town bunkers). You are now a Brotherhood of Steel member !
• Access to the next quest in the BoS quest-line: Bring 10 Radscorpion Tails.
