While [[RadAway]] is taken ''after'' exposure to reduce a character's [[Radiated|current radiation level]], Rad-X is taken ''prior'' to exposure as a preventative measure, to boost a character's [[Radiated|Radiation Resistance]].

Rad-X is one of the few drugs with effects that stack. You can take 2 at a time and get double the bonus to [[Radiated|Radiation Resistance]], although any character's [[Radiated|Radiation Resistance]] caps at 95%. If, for example, your character already has a natural 42% resistance to radiation, taking 1 makes it 92% so in that case taking a 2nd would only give you 3% more.
